Department/District/Post Meeting Changes

District 15 meeting on May 3, 2015 will change from Bellingham to Post 7392, Oak Harbor. 11:30 AM
Lunch, with meeting to follow at 1 PM.

District 14's Meeting and Convention is May 17 in Port Angeles this year.  The luncheon starts at 1200 and the meeting is 1300.  Meeting location is the Clallam County Veterans Center, 216 S. Francis Street Port Angeles.

District Meeting Schedule for 2014-15.

Post 5924 will now be meeting on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 PM.

Post 921 will be meeting on the 2nd Saturday of the month, still at the Boys and Girls Club.

Post 1435 will be meeting on the second Saturday of each month. To view the official notice click Here.

 

Post 2554 new meeting place is at the Sultan United Methodist Church 212 Birch St Sultan WA 98294. The meeting date is still the 2nd Thursday of the month but the time is at 7:00.

Post 3348 has a new meeting location:  American Legion Post 227, 14521 17th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155.
Dinner is at 6PM, meeting at 7 PM.

Post 6785 will be meeting on the 3rd Wednesday at 7 PM,  at the US Army Reserve Center, 14631 SE 192nd St, Renton, WA 98058.

Post 8889 is now holding their meeting's at 1130 E. Pine Street across from the swimming pool. This is more accessible to those with handicaps as there are no stairs to climb.

Post 9079 has a new meeting location: Real Life Family Center 17708 28th Ave. E. Spanaway, WA.

VFW Post 12028 meetings held on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 1000 hrs. – Now held at the Amboy Territorial Park Meeting Room.

 

 

 

Fundraisers/Pay Events

 

VFW Post 91 Fish Fry, May 1st and 2nd 2015.

 

The Student Veterans Association at Seattle Central College is Hosting  Warrior Scholar Fundraiser Event  on May 8th, 2015 at the Seattle Elks Lodge # 92.   Starting at 7:30 PM we will do all we can to have some fun while raising funds for the Student Veteran Scholarship Fund.  For more information e-mail us at: scccstudentvet@gmail.com

The Washington Special Olympics will be held on the weekend of May 29 - 31 at JBLM in Tacoma. The Special Olympics Chairman (Gordon Huggins) has requested assistance in manning this event. Anyone having some free time and wanting to become involved in this great event should contact him at (360) 355-6700. This is good for the VFW, the Special Olympics and Community support.
